Blueberry Smoothie

Just look at that cute little smile! You were enjoying your blueberry, banana smoothie so much that you wouldn't let go of the straw. You were being silly and kept glancing up at me with this cheesy smile and blinking your little eyes at me to make me laugh. You just love attention and playing games with mommy and daddy. This blinking game is your favorite for some reason, probly because it makes us laugh.

Thirteen months old and getting so big! We took you to the doctors a few days ago because you had a croopy cough. The boys have been sick... gotta love the start of the school year, and so of course you got a bad cold too. Poor baby, but you are already doing much better.

First Birthday!

Happy First Birthday Mona ! Every mother says " I can't believe my baby's already ONE!" So I'm not going to say it...... I'm not! ;-)

Isn't she adorable? Haa Haa, on a side note, Jack and Nolan say adorable sometimes referring to Mona or when I look especially nice, it's pretty cute. Jack just started Kindergarten and we asked him if he made any new friends. He said  "Yes, Sarah, and she's adorable!"   ;-)






So anyhow, for Mona's 1st birthday we had a little party at home with Strawberry Cupcakes and gifts. Britton played Happy Birthday to You on his guitar for her. She got a cute little musical "jewelry box" with lipstick, perfume and a comb. It's the girliest thing I could find and she loves it! ;-) She also got a couple of new cute outfits. I can't believe my baby is already ONE!! I had to do it.

Eight months old

You are getting so big! You have been sitting up by yourself for a while now and you love to stand, your very good at it. I wish you would start crawling. You are getting bored and frustrated sitting in one place and eagerly watch the boys while they run around and play. You sit and wave both of your little hands around in circles and let out a little cry when you get left by yourself. Jack loves to entertain you. He sits by you and talks to you and plays with you. You are such a good baby! You are just sweet sweet sweet! You have been saying "Mamamama." especially when you want to be held. It works like a charm!

You also make these cute little growl sounds. You sound just like a baby bear, so you've been nicknamed Baby Bear.

6 months old

You are getting so big! We had your 6 month pediatrician visit the other day and you were 19 pounds & 26 inches long. That put you at about the 70% for your weight and 90% for your height. I' afraid your going to be pretty tall given that your daddy is 6'7" and I'm 5'7".

Your daddy is already planning on you being a professional volleyball player and thinks that your name, Mona Claire is perfect for a tall women's clothing line.

We all think you are absolutley the most beautiful and perfect baby girl in the whole wide world. You are not only cute and cuddly but you have the sweetest disposition and sweet little shy smile. Even your little brothers adore you!

Jack loves you to bits! He always wants to sit by you and "snuggle" you and makes sure you have plenty of toys to play with. When you are dolled up he says "Awwww, baby Mona is sooo cute!"

Even Nolan who wasn't so sure about you at first has come around and likes to dance around you to make you laugh and when he thinks nobody's looking, he lays by you and just stares at you. Lately, he has been saying quite often " I sure love baby Mona." When you start to cry, both Jack and Nolan will sing you the song that I sing to you; "Mona Claire, Mona Claire, mommy loves you baby bear." or to the tune of Rubber Ducky, your the one (your favorite) "Mona Claire, you're the one! You make my life so much fun! Mona Claire your the only one for meeeee." You laugh out loud whenever we sing it to you.

You are very loved my sweet baby girl!

First Foods

You had your first solid food, rice cereal when you were about 5 months old.

I am making most of your food now and you really seem to enjoy them. You definately don't eat as much as your brothers did but you are a little chubbster!
